When planning an event, one question to consider is whether and how much to tip the person setting up the party rental. This is indeed a difficult decision.

During the whole process of renting the bouncy castle, we will meet the delivery drivers of the rental company and the workers who set up the bouncy castle. We will first understand their work and then decide whether to tip them.

Drivers typically start their day at their warehouse at 7am, loading everything into their pickup truck piece by piece and scrutinizing it to make sure they don’t forget anything. These drivers may have to make deliveries to 6 to 8 locations a day. After unloading the cargo at each location, the rental company workers set up the bounce house and make sure everyone understands how things work. The driver then returned that night to pick up everything. They went to each client’s house again and again, rolled up the inflatables, sometimes getting soaked while picking up the water slides, and loaded them back into the car.

Generally, no tip is required for delivery. The shipping you pay covers their service, but you can tip 10% to 15% of the total cost of your bounce house rental, given the effort they put into the process. If you are satisfied with the service and feel that the staff did a good job, a tip is always appreciated. However, tipping is not required and is entirely up to the customer.
