When asked about the material, we usually tell our clients that the material we use is 0.55mm 18oz pvc tarpaulin from Plato. But they don’t actually know what it means, today we will introduce in detail what the bounce house is made of material.

There are usually three kinds of material for inflatables: PVC, the oxford cloth and nylon. Nylon is the lightest one so that it is usually used for air dancers. The pvc is the strongest one so that it is used for bouncers and jumper castles to bare more stress. The oxford cloth is used for tents and arches because it is not too light and not too strong so that the tents and arches can be inflated up.

As the saying goes: you get what you pay for, the better and stronger the material, the more you pay. If you’re only buying a few people in the house you don’t have to buy that good material, Oxford cloth is enough; if it’s a commercial trampoline, it’s recommended that you buy a good material, such as heavy-duty PVC vinyl.

Another issue that needs to be mentioned is that you have to make sure that the material is fire resistant. If you choose a cheap knockoff brand, you may be tricked.
